Milaad-un-Nabi (SAW) by Minhaj-ul-Qur’an Woman League Scotland (Dundee)


The Minhaj Woman League Dundee hosted a beautiful and very heart touching Mehfil of Eid Milaad-un-Nabi (SAW). Sisters from all over Dundee had attended this spiritual gathering and showed their love and passion for the Beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

The Mehfil started with the beautiful recitation of the Holy Qur’an by Sister Sanan Anwar. After the Tilawat there was a very heart-moving and lovely Hamd by Aamna Shaid in which everyone took part and praised Almighty Allah (SWT). Furthermore, the event progressed with various speeches by various influential speakers. Firstly, there was an English speech on the magnificence birth of the Holy Prophet (SAW) by Sister Aaamna Saleem. Second was Sister Sweba Majid who gave a very important speech in English regarding terrorism and the problems which the Islamic Ummah is facing today. And thirdly, Hafiza Tahira gave a wonderful speech in Urdu on the topic of our Beloved Prophet (SAW) and who He is, not just an individual but a Mercy for all the universes. During the program was a series of enthusiastic nasheed reciters including sisters Rohi, Shazia Isaq, Fozia Butt and ManazaUllah. They all recited with great passion and with very melodious tunes and praised the best of all creation – Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

At the end of the Mehfil, Salaam was recited upon the Holy Prophet (SAW).

Finally, refreshments were distributed to the sisters.

A total of 200 sisters attended the Mehfil.
