The Holy Qur'an, word of Allah (S.W.T) was revealed to the beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon Him) 14 centuries ago and has been recognized as the greatest literary masterpiece in Arabic. It is a source of immense inspiration, guidance and wisdom for millions of Muslims all over the world and wider humanity. There have been many English translations of the Holy Qur’an in the past. As the Arabic language is one of the richest languages in the world, containing many meanings and hidden depths, with no comparison in the English language, it can be difficult to convey the fullest and inner meanings of the sacred text of the Qur’an, and it often remains difficult to understand in its English translations.

At the U.S.-Islamic World Forum in Washington D.C., which was jointly organized by the Brookings Institution, the Qatar Government and the OIC, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri met with the Secretary General of the Organisation of Islamic Conference (OIC), Prof Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu. They spoke about various issues of mutual interest and exchanged views on a host of issues.

20 February 2011: A historic Mawlid-un-Nabi (S.A.W.) conference was held in Madni Jamia Masjid Bradford, UK which attracted an estimated 10,000 participants. The Milaad-e-Mustafa (S.A.W.) Conference jointly organised by Minhaj-ul-Quran International (UK) and Madni Jamia Masjid was a great success as an endless amount of people were turning up at the mosque throughout the night in order to listen to the special guest who was none other than Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri.

19 February 2011: Minhaj-ul-Quran International UK organised a spiritual night to celebrate Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri's 60th birthday.  The guest of honour for the program was Shaykh-ul-Islam himself.
