MWL UK Halifax organise their annual Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ event

On 31st December 2016 Minhaj-ul-Quran International, MWL UK Halifax organised an annual Milad-un-Nabi (ﷺ) mehfil for women at the Jamia Madni Masjid in Halifax. The event had an excellent turnout with a large number of sisters and their children attending.

September Halqa e Durood Mehfil by MWL Halifax

MWL Halifax held its weekly Halqa-e-Durood mehfil at the Minhaj ul Quran centre in Halifax. Which was attended by around 12 Sisters.

The Mehfil began by everyone reading Durood Shareef. Sister Rubina (MWL Halifax Dawah Secretary) read from the Irfan Ul Quran with translation in Urdu, this was really beneficial for all of us as we could comprehend what was read. Following this Baji Jameela (MWL Halifax President) read some beautiful text from Minhaj-us-Sawi that talked about the benefits you gain and the positive impact from sitting in good gatherings with pious people.

MWL Halifax organise fundraising workshop in collaboration with MWF

On Saturday 18 June, Minhaj-ul-Quran women league Halifax organised a fundraising workshop at Queens Road Neighbourhood Centre, Halifax.

Present were brother Adnan Sohail (project manager) brother Tahseen Khalid and Ahsan Khan from Minhaj Welfare Foundation (MWF). Baji Nasreen, president of MWL North, was also in attendance.

Minhaj Women League Halifax arranged a women only event on Internet Safety at the Inspire centre Calderdale College on 31st January 2016. The aim of the event was to promote awareness about the inappropriate content and contacts that children or young adults may come across online and what parents can do more to stop or reduce it.
