MQI condemns brutal Paris Attacks

Minhaj UK is horrified and shocked by the brutal murders committed in Paris last night in what was an unprecedented and savage attack upon civilians in one of the world’s great cities. Whoever are found to be the perpetrators, we utterly condemn their bloodthirsty actions, which cannot be justified by any grievance or grudge. Their inhumane actions fall completely outside the ethical and moral limits proscribed by any religion or civilised system of life. It is imperative the attackers are found and subjected to criminal proceedings. We send our condolences to the bereaved, and to the injured our heartfelt sympathies and best wishes for recovery.

MQI UK acknowledges the PM’s more measured tone compared to his previous speech in Slovakia in June in its attempt to broaden the scope of extremism to include far right groups and not to single out Muslims as being the sole focus of extremism. We also welcome the PM’s recognition that Britain is a successful multi-racial, multi-faith democracy, and that its diversity is its strength.

Muslim Youth: More needs to be done to tackle extremism
