Minhaj-ul-Quran Glasgow held its first ever one day conference and retreat in the form of Al Hidayah in Scotland on Monday 2nd January 2017.

Minhaj-ul-Qur’an International (UK)’s Al-Hidayah project team arranged Al-Hidayah 2016 with a relevant and much needed focus on developing future leadership. This year’s event was the first three day event since Al-Hidayah 2010, and the objectives of the event were geared towards nurturing and inspiring future leaders from amongst the youth.

Keele University in North Staffordshire, England was chosen as the venue for the event, set in 600 acres of scenic greenery and with all accommodation, facilities and events on campus, it provided the ideal environment for three days of learning and development.

Coventry, England (CNN) - Tired of Islamic terror camps grabbing headlines, a Pakistani Muslim cleric is fighting back by holding his own "anti-terror camp."

Islamic cleric Shaykh Muhammad Tahir ul-Qadri is the man behind "Al-Hidayah," an Islamic retreat at the University of Warwick, in the UK.

‘Al-Hidayah 2010’ which attracted around 1500 young Muslim men and women from across the UK, Europe and North America, was held at the University of Warwick on 7th, 8th and 9th of August , 2010 with the aim to de-radicalise and spiritualise the Muslim youth.
