On Saturday 31st December 2014 Muslim Youth League Sisters UK in Bradford held an exclusive New Year’s Dhikr and Halaqa-e-Durood gathering. The purpose of hosting the gathering on New Year’s Eve was to inculcate the love of Prophet Muhammad (s) as well as the vision of Minhaj-ul-Quran International into the minds and hearts of the volunteers of MYLUK – S so they could carry forward the vision and disseminate the message of Huzoor Sayyidi Shaykh ul Islam to a wider audience in the upcoming year.
The gathering took place in the presence of the blessed Hair of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon Him) which was an honour for the entire team.
The day was structured around the silent recital of Salutations and Greetings upon our Beloved (peace and blessings be upon Him), which was soon followed by Tilawat, recitation of the Holy Quran. Following the Tilawat several Hadith’s from the Minhaj-us-Sawwi, by Shaykh-ul-Islam dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, were recited. This was followed by collective recitation of Durood-o-Salam by the participants. A Mehfil-e-Naat took place soon after, collective praises were recited in honour of the esteemed status of Prophet Muhammad (please and blessings be upon Him) and also in celebration his blessed birth.
As the gathering concluded, the participants were given the opportunity to view the blessed Hair of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon Him) whilst members immersed themselves in collective recital of Durood Sharif simultaneously. The event concluded at 4:45 pm and food was served to all participants including cake.
A collective Dua was made for the success of Minhaj-ul-Quran International and for the continuation of such spiritual gatherings that will become the means of gaining the intercession of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon Him).
The final moments of the gathering consisted of a special Dua for Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri and also the success and sustainable future of MYLUK – Sisters.
