MWL Bradford meets Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-DIn Qadri


Minhaj-ul-Quran International Bradford was host to the City Tour 2016 which took place on Sunday 21st February 2016. The tour was accompanied by Sahibzada Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri and consisted of the Halifax, Huddersfield and Leeds teams, alongside the Bradford team.

The aim of the tour was for Sahibzada Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri to see progress made within the local zones and centres, as well as to discuss any other issues members may have, and to provide guidelines for members to work by.

The tour involved Sahibzada Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri being informed of the progress that Minhaj Women League UK North Zone had made. Starting off with the targets achieved by MWL Bradford, Huddersfield and Halifax, to future targets that had been set, and the number of activities taking place within each of the local areas.

Sister Shaila Parveen introduced herself first and foremost as well as the North Zone. Sister Rubina Raja (Bradford President) then went on to introduce the Bradford team and what they had achieved. Ranging from the number of Halaqa's within Bradford, to the funds raised for various purposes, number of members and future targets.

After this, the Halifax team was introduced by Sister Jamila Akhtar, who talked about the achievements they had made in their local area. She covered aspects of community work they had done alongside other targets they had accomplished and future targets. Finally, Sister Sidrafrom Huddersfield introduced her team and their works within the local community and spreading the message of Minhaj-ul-Quran, and their achievements and future targets. Shortly after, the Muslim Youth League also presented their efforts.

Sahibzada Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri were very pleased with the work of Minhaj Women League UK North Zone and praised MWL on their efforts.

The second part of the tour consisted of Sahibzada Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri addressing the gathering praising them for their efforts towards Minhaj-ul-Quran International. Using narrations from Hadith, Sahibzada Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri inspired all present to continue working for the mission and continue the work for Islam, especially in current times. Also, reminding people of the purpose of Minhaj-ul-Quran and the work that His Eminence Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri have done and are doing for the Ummah, and their pride with the work of the affiliates of Minhaj-ul-Quran.

Lastly, a small celebration was carried out in respect of Quaid Day, where Sahibzada Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri alongside others, cut the cake. To conclude the tour, dua was made by Sahibzada Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri.
