MYLUK – Sisters in Bradford recently launched their 2016 Study circles under the name ‘DEEN DECODED’. The study circles will be continuing regularly on a fortnightly basis on Sundays from 5-7pm. The first study circle of MYLUK – Sisters in Bradford took place on Sunday 20th March 2016 in Minhaj-ul-Quran, 187 Manningham Lane, Bradford, BD8 7HP.

The concept behind ‘Deen Decoded’ was to break down Islam and start from the basic principles but studying each principle in depth alongside topics of modern issues. The first two sessions were based on Iman (Iman-e-Mujmal & Iman-e-Mufassal) and talk about Hijab.

Minhaj-ul-Quran International Bradford was host to the City Tour 2016 which took place on Sunday 21st February 2016. The tour was accompanied by Sahibzada Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri and consisted of the Halifax, Huddersfield and Leeds teams, alongside the Bradford team.

Minhaj Women League (MWL) UK Bradford have been working closely with Minhaj Welfare Foundation (MWF) in order to provide aid and assistance to the Syrian Refugees who have arrived within the UK. Several families have arrived in Bradford; whom MWL Bradford have visited on a number of occasions in order to determine what they need assistance with. MWL Bradford are working in a rota so that each member of MWL can participate in helping the Syrian families.

On Saturday 30th January 2016, under the banner of Minhaj Women League UK (MWL) Bradford, the local area based Halaqa’s of Thornbury and Undercliff held a Mawlid event at Madni Jamia Masjid. The event was attended by over 90 women and children.

On Sunday 27th December 2015, Minhaj Women League UK Bradford was host to the annual Mawlid that took place in Minhaj-ul-Quran. The event was attended by over 100 women and introduced by Sister Rubina Raja (MWL Bradford President) who briefly told the audience about the importance of the Quran. After this Sister Zoya Naz was invited to stage to bless the gathering with her melodious recitation of Surah Waduha. The gathering was continued with the praise of Almighty Allah by Sister Rubina who recited Teri Shaan Jalla Jalaluhu.

She then continued on to inform the audience of a message of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri about having love of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) as well as love for Madina and how that completes faith. Various members of the audience were invited to the stage one by one to express their love for the Prophet (SAW) through Durood Sharif alongside a range of Naats welcoming the Prophet Muhammad (SAW). The atmosphere created from the beautiful recitations left the audience feeling very spiritual and joyous in the love of the Prophet (SAW).
